Mr. Kent has dedicated his entire legal career to fighting for and protecting the rights of U.S. immigrants and their U.S. employers. He is proactive in advocating reforms to the U.S. immigration laws and policies, especially those affecting professional workers and immediate family members. He is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
Mr. Kent and his experienced staff successfully handle all employment based and family based immigration petitions. Mr. Kent thoroughly screens and carefully reviews all of his prospective clients’ qualifications prior to fully committing himself to their cases. Due to his strict pre-qualifying practice, he enjoys an unsurpassed, 95% approval rating on the majority of his petitions filed.
Despite his busy work schedule, Mr. Kent insists on personally doing all the legal analysis and complex legal drafting. He is proud to stand behind the quality product of his immigration work.
Mr. William Kent is a graduate of the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Law in the top 20% and was an associate editor of The Law Review. Thereafter, Mr. Kent was a Deputy Attorney General in Pennsylvania for 15 years. During that time he practiced trial law and served as President of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association and was on the Board of Governors of the Philadelphia Bar Association, as well as the Assistant Treasurer of the Association from 1972 to 1973. It was at this time that Mr. Kent was admitted to practice law in California. During these years he practiced a variety of law including: personal injury, real estate, labor, corporate, medical and legal malpractice.
Mr. Kent’s passion for law drove him to be an active role model to his community by extending his time to the University of San Fernando Valley to teach a course in Criminal Trial Practice. Mr. Kent has tried one court case per month, jury and non-jury, for a ten-year period, in addition to 50 appellate cases. In California alone he has tried about 30 cases, one-third criminal and about 20 civil, including about 10 civil jury trials; he has also tried about 20 appeals, state and federal.
He is a member of the Orange County Bar Association.
